At 4:30 PM, on April 24th, 2024, Thai national media reported the progress in a case of a grisly murder and dismemberment of a suspected Yakuza gang member in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi.
The Thai police requested an arrest warrant from the Thai criminal court for premeditated murder for the two Japanese suspects and conspiring to hide and destroy a corpse for the Thai suspect.
However, it was unclear whether the Japanese suspects would still be in Thailand as the investigative police officers were investigating their whereabouts. It was reported that the Thai immigration officers did not report witnessing the Japanese suspects legally trying to cross the Thai border as of press time. It was suspected they had either illegally crossed the border through a natural channel or were still hiding near a border attempting to cross.
The Thai police coordinated with Japanese police and Interpol to track down the two Japanese suspects and are issuing an Interpol red notice.
According to the police report, Kritsakorn reportedly told the police that after the murder incident, he still worked for the suspected Yakuza gang members who allegedly murdered and dismembered the body of Ryosuke on March 28th. Kritsakorn allegedly told the police that he received 1,000 baht as compensation daily as a private driver for them.
Initially, the police would investigate further to determine whether Kritsakorn was directly involved in the murder and dismemberment or not before taking legal action against him. However, Kritsakorn allegedly told the police that he was not involved in the murder and dissection of the body and claimed he had been forced into the acts.
