Sattahip —

A motorcyclist, whom authorities said was intoxicated, crashed his motorbike in Chonburi’s Sattahip district and sustained moderate injuries on Monday night, March 25th, 2024.

The Sawang Rojanatham Sattahip Rescue Foundation received a report of a motorcycle accident on the railway tracks near Ban Huai Khwang, Na Jomtien sub-district, at 11:25 PM on Monday. The rescue workers and medics from Wat Yannasangwararam Woramahawihan Hospital rushed to the scene.

They found a 34-year-old man, identified as Mr. Sarawut (family name withheld), with a head wound, a dislocated right shoulder, and abrasions to his body and face. He was taken to Wat Yannasangwararam Woramahawihan Hospital for treatment.

Mr. Sarawut’s unidentified co-workers said that he had been drinking with friends and was on his way home when the accident happened. The road was dark and Mr. Sarawut was intoxicated, which caused him to lose control of his motorcycle and crash, the co-workers added.

Relevant police are investigating the accident.
