Pattaya Ready to Host “Doraemon Run 2024 Thailand”

Pattaya City officially received the Doraemon doll, the mascot for the upcoming “Doraemon Run 2024 Thailand” event, on Sunday, March 24th, 2024.

The doll signified Pattaya’s participation as the second host city for the Doraemon Run event organized by MCOT. The handover ceremony was held from 4:30 AM to 8:30 AM today in Bangkok.

The first phase of the Doraemon Run 2024 Thailand took place earlier Sunday morning at the Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal in Bankok. The event, which included a 5 km and 10 km categories, witnessed over 4,000 runners in attendance.

The Doraemon Run will be held across five locations throughout Thailand. Pattaya will host the second leg of the competition on May 11th, featuring a unique midnight run of 5 km on Pattaya Beach.

Following Pattaya, the event will move to Yamo Field in Nakhon Ratchasima on July 14th, which includes both 5 km and 10 km options. Runners can then participate in the scenic Sapan Hin Public Park and Old Town area run in Phuket on September 15th, again featuring 5 km and 10 km distances. The final leg of the Doraemon Run event will take place on November 23rd at the Chiang Mai Night Safari in Chiang Mai, with both 5 km and 10 km races.
