Pattaya —

Pattaya City is gearing up for a colorful celebration of the Holi Festival, also known as the “Festival of Colors,” scheduled for March 23rd-24th, 2024.

A meeting, chaired by Mr. Kritsana Boonsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, was held at the Pattaya City Hall on Monday, March 18th, to prepare for the event. Representatives from the Thai-Indian Business Association Pattaya and relevant officials participated in the discussions.

The meeting focused on finalizing the guidelines for the festival, prioritizing the convenience and safety of participants. This annual Hindu festival, traditionally celebrated over two days in March, involves participants playfully splashing each other with colored powder or water, similar to Thailand’s Songkran festival.

The Holi Festival is a fun occasion celebrated from morning until noon. The event will run between March 23rd and 24th from 2 PM at Central Pattaya Beach and also feature an Indian food fair.

The main colour portion of the festival will be on March 23rd from about 4PM to 8PM at the bottom of Central Klang and The Pattaya News will be present!
