Thief Steals Benches from Pattaya Rescue Foundation

Pattaya —

Rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation in Pattaya are appealing to the public for help after a thief/thieves stole marble benches from the premises.

Mr. Wisut Thong-u, head of the rescue team, reported to the Banglamung police and media on Sunday, March 17th, that unknown individuals snuck into their foundation and stole many marble benches used by the rescuers for resting.

The theft occurred sometime during the late hours of March 16th. The missing benches, which were donated by the public, are roughly 2 meters long and have an estimated value of 14,000 baht.

According to Mr. Wisut, no rescue workers witnessed the theft, leading him to believe there might be more than one thief involved due to the weight of the stolen items. Mr. Wisut personally suspected that there were more than three culprits involved.

The rescue team is appealing to anyone with information about the stolen benches or the culprits to come forward. They hope to recover the missing property and prevent similar incidents from happening again.
