Pattaya welcomed athletes from many countries for the inaugural Yolorun 2024 running competition held early today, March 17th, 2024.
Taking place at North Pattaya Road at the Fairtex Gym, the event featured 5km and 10km races aimed at boosting tourism in Pattaya and its surrounding areas.
The event welcomed athletes from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand and was jointly organized by Pattaya City, Fairtex Sports Club & Hotel, and Yolorun Malaysia with numerous sponsors and organisers such as ECpixels and Yuth Fight Gear.
Mr. Surat Thepchaito, Director of the Tourism and Sports Office, flagged off the runners at the starting point on North Pattaya Road, in front of the Fairtex Sports Club.
Yolorun, the event organizer, also contributed 50,000 baht to support future sports initiatives in Pattaya.
