A woman and a foreigner were captured reportedly fornicating on the front steps of a well-known shopping mall in North Pattaya.
The 24-second video was posted on Facebook on March 13th, 2024, and received many reactions and comments. The video depicted the couple allegedly engaging in sexual activities on the steps leading to an escalator of the mall at what appeared to be nighttime.
Following the video’s emergence, local news reporters visited the escalator in question. However, locals and security guards informed them that they were unaware of the obscene incident captured in the video. The exact date and time of the recording also remain unclear and apparent Christmas trees in the video seem to hint that it may be dated.
TPN Media will not provide a link to the video as it may offend sensitive viewers and also may violate certain Thai obscenity laws to share and distribute the footage.
Local authorities are urged to investigate the clip’s origin. The video’s content has caused alarm among Pattaya residents who fear such behavior could tarnish what they called the city’s world class family friendly tourism reputation.
