Pattaya Mayor Poramase Ngampiches recently hosted a group of VIP tourists from China at the Suanthai Pattaya Garden on Monday, March 11th, 2024.
The event aimed to strengthen cultural bonds and explore investment opportunities between Thailand and China, according to an official announcement. The Chinese delegation, made up of VIP tourists from various provinces of China, joined in on cultural activities and talks with the officials.
Ms. Dong Xin, a Chinese tourism leading figure, was with the delegation. In her speech, Ms. Dong Xin talked about how important it is for China and Thailand to work together more. She also stressed the strong connection between the two countries, which isn’t just because they’re close on a map, but also because they share a long history and rich cultures.
Other than the cultural exchange, there were also talks about how China and Thailand could cooperate more in the future in areas such as tourism, education, and healthcare.
