Foreign Tourist Saved From Drowning at Pattaya Beach

Pattaya—

At 4:20 PM, on March 2nd, 2024, Pattaya Rescue Radio Center received a report of a drowning foreign tourist at Pattaya Beach, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.

The emergency services were urgently dispatched to Pattaya Beach and found an unconscious foreign tourist, aged from 50 to 60, who was brought to the shore.

The Pattaya Beach lifeguards and rescue teams performed first aid before transferring the foreign tourist to the Pattaya City Hospital for immediate medical treatment.

According to a witness at the incident scene, Mr. Natthawut Chatchokor, 18, he told the rescue teams that he noticed the victim floating for more than 15 minutes and he thought the victim was swimming around.

Natthawut added that the victim just had a meal and went to swim, and after 10 minutes, someone shouted that the foreign tourist had drowned.

No further report from the rescue teams on the latest condition of the unidentified foreign tourist, noting TPN.
