The collision resulted in injuries to three individuals. Mr. Thanapat, a 24-year-old motorcycle driver, who sustained severe injuries. Two other individuals, Mrs. Sukanya (51) and Ms. Suwannee (37), also suffered mostly minor injuries from the accident, including burns and abrasions.

According to Mr. Somchai, a witness to the event, a white Toyota pickup truck driven by Mr. Phyo Phyo, a 30-year-old Myanmar national, reversed into Mr. Thanapat’s motorcycle. This initial impact caused the pickup truck to lose control and collide with the parked sidecar motorbike that was selling fried meatballs, resulting in hot oil being spilled onto Mrs. Sukanya.
