At 12:06 AM, on February 24th, 2024, Pattaya City police captured a local kratom juice vendor who allegedly sold kratom juice without permission and confiscated 122 bottles of kratom juice in Soi Buakhao, Banglamung, Chonburi.
According to the police report, locals filed complaint reports of a vendor illegally selling kratom juice in bottles to foreign tourists and local teenagers without FDA permission. The police officers then planned the arrest before taking legal action.
As a result, the police were able to capture a vendor whose name was withheld by the police and confiscated 122 bottles of kratom juice in Soi Buakhao.
The police also publicized that all vendors who illegally sold kratom juice would face legal action of imprisonment from six months to two years and fines from 5,000 to 20,000 baht.
