Chonburi Motorcycle Theft Caught on Camera

A 28-year-old Thai man in Chonburi is appealing for the return of his stolen motorbike, which he had purchased just one month ago.

On February 18th, 2024, the victim, Mr. Anoph Tepran, spoke to local media about the thief that stole his Honda Wave 125i motorbike from a building located in Naklua, Banglamung, Chonburi.

According to CCTV footage, the incident occurred on February 17th. A tall individual wearing a full-face helmet, black clothing, and long pants approached Mr. Anoph’s motorbike, broke the handle, and then pushed it away. The thief subsequently met an accomplice and escaped in a car. The entire theft took less than two minutes.

Mr. Anoph expressed his distress to reporters, stating that the motorcycle was essential for his wife’s daily commute and was still under loan payments. He also had just bought the bike one month ago and recently changed the plate from red to white.

Mr. Anoph filed a police report with Banglamung Police Station, and authorities are reviewing the CCTV footage to identify and apprehend the suspects. The victim urged the culprit to return the motorcycle.
