Pattaya—
At 4:00 PM, on February 16th, 2024, Mr. Poramese “Beer” Ngampichet, the Mayor of Pattaya City, Chonburi officials, and many other people dressed in purple as a loyalty symbol to honor the eldest Princess Sirindhorn at Chonburi City Hall, Mueang, Chonburi.
Shortly after at 5:00 PM, Pattaya City with the public, private sectors, and citizens of all groups, joined in showing their loyalty to Princess Sirindhorn at Pattaya Beach.
Poramese presided over the opening of the ceremony and offered auspicious blessings to Her Princess. The group of people then sang the royal anthem and shouted “Long Live Her Princess” three times as a loyalty symbol to the Thai Royal.
Not only in Pattaya City but this activity was also held nationwide in a similar fashion to respond to a group of student activists that recently caused controversy by obstructing Her Princess’ procession, noted TPN.
