Sattahip —

Sattahip police arrested a major drug dealer nicknamed “Angie Bird” on Thursday, February 15th, along with a large cache of narcotics and firearms.

The operation was initiated following a tip-off received by undercover agents regarding the sale of illegal drugs in the Sattahip area. Mr. Tanusak Huangthung, 36, a resident of Sukhothai, allegedly offered methamphetamine pills for 4,000 Baht per package (200 pills) according to Sattahip police. Further investigation led to the discovery of a larger stash at his residence, including 17,075 methamphetamine pills, 77.79 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and one homemade firearm with ammunition.

Mr. Tanusak admitted to owning the seized narcotics, claiming to have purchased them from another individual at a lower price. He allegedly distributed the drugs in Rayong province for a substantial profit per pill.

The suspect also claimed the firearm was for self-defense and that he was just released from prison less than a year before his arrest. Mr. Tanusak remains in police custody, waiting for legal actions.
