Pattaya City, in collaboration with the Thai Boxing Association and Traditional Thai Boxing Association, is proud to announce the upcoming 5th World Muay Thai Championship.
This prestigious event, set to take place from March 11th to the 15th of 2024, at Jomtien Beach, promises to showcase the best of traditional Thai boxing while promoting Pattaya as a sports city and sports tourism destination.
The event announcement was made during a meeting led by Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, Mayor of Pattaya, on February 7th, 2024. The championship will be held on Jomtien Beach opposite the D Varee Hotel and kicks off at 5:00 PM daily with free entry for all.
Beyond the intense competition, a highlight of the event will be the traditional Thai boxing master’s respect ceremony on March 14th. This unique display will offer participants and spectators the opportunity to immerse themselves in the artistry and cultural significance of Muay Thai.
