Indian Tourist Arrested on Pattaya Walking Street: Caught Allegedly Taking Illicit Substances in Entertainment Venue

At 12:10 AM, on February 3rd, 2024, Pattaya Walking Street police patrols received a report of an Indian tourist taking illicit substances inside an unidentified entertainment venue in the Pattaya Walking Street district.

A security guard at an entertainment venue in Pattaya Walking Street took hold of an Indian man who allegedly took illicit substances to the tourist police office desk station in Walking Street.

The suspect was publicly identified only as Mr. Rajkanwarpreet, 23, who allegedly took an illicit substance inside a toilet in one of the entertainment venues in Pattaya Walking Street. The suspect was discovered when a maid found blood dripping from the toilet area to the floor, the maid then reported the incident to security to check the situation.

The suspect had a small rubber sling over his arm and appeared to be intoxicated from taking illicit substances. The suspect then was escorted to the tourist police office desk and was found to have stashed several syringes on his person normally used for illicit substance intake.

Initially, the Indian suspect was escorted for drug tests as the illicit substances were unknown, and would likely be pressed on charges of possessing illicit substances by the Thai police.
