Sattahip —

Residents of a naval housing area in Chonburi were met with an unexpected encounter on Monday evening when a large python was spotted slithering across a road.

Ms. Siriroj Permsin, 43, alerted authorities after discovering the roughly 4-meter-long reptile blocking her path within the Moo 2 area of Sattahip district on January 28th. Responding promptly, a team of three rescue officers equipped with snake-catching tools arrived at the scene.

Following their initial assessment, the rescue team tracked the python, which had moved from the road and sought refuge within the grounds of a house belonging to Captain Nares Sudcharoen. With caution and expertise, the officers managed to safely capture the snake and subsequently release it back into its natural habitat.
