Pattaya Teenager Loses Motorbike to Thieves

Pattaya —

A motorbike of a teenager in Pattaya was stolen by two thieves after he had parked it outside his rental apartment for just 10 minutes.

The brazen thief struck on Friday, January 27th, at an unspecified apartment in Pattaya. Panupong Nonkhonman, the 16-year-old victim, reported the incident to the Pattaya police at 5:30 PM, shortly after discovering his black Honda PCX motorbike missing from his apartment.

According to Panupong, he had parked his motorbike, bearing a Rayong license plate, without securing it at the front of his apartment. He briefly went inside a room to collect some items and returned approximately 10 minutes later to find his motorcycle missing.

Surveillance footage from the area captured two men wearing helmets concealing their faces. One man was seen hopping on the victim’s motorbike before dragging it away with the help of the other.

The stolen motorcycle was purchased by Panupong’s mother for his daily commute to school and for earning additional income through delivery jobs, Panupong said. He expressed concerns not only about the inconvenience of being without transportation but also about the possibility of the stolen vehicle being used for criminal activities. He urged the police to recover the motorcycle and apprehend the perpetrators.
