Pattaya –
A male German pedestrian has been injured after getting stuck in wire mesh on a footpath in Pattaya.
Emergency responders were notified of the incident after midnight on Saturday (January 27th) on Pattaya Beach Road in Nongprue.
They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the victim, identified only as, Mr. Nils, 24, a German national. He has been injured in his left foot and was given first aid at the scene before being taken to a local hospital.
Witnesses told the Pattaya News that the young German man was walking on the footpath normally near Mike Shopping Mall, which is currently under construction and part of a resurfacing project when he became stuck within wire mesh, causing injuries to his left foot.
The incident is under investigation by Pattaya authorities as of press time.
