Pattaya —
In a joint operation, Banglamung district officials, public health authorities, and Pattaya police cracked down on an illegal marijuana stall on Wednesday.
The raid, conducted earlier on January 24th, resulted in the arrest of four unidentified individuals and the seizure of a significant amount of cannabis products.
According to the officials, the suspects faced charges for illegally selling marijuana flowers, which are a controlled substance, without proper authorization and licenses and unlawfully processing marijuana flowers for commercial purposes.
The suspects reportedly admitted to selling marijuana for a long time, specifically targeting tourists. They were taken into custody, and legal proceedings against them are now in progress.
Pattaya health officials said removing unlicensed marijuana from the streets will make everyone safer.
