Popular Indian Actor Kiran Raj Finds a Love for the Fight Game in Pattaya, Thailand with Rage Fight Academy

Pattaya, Thailand-

Popular Indian Actor Kiran Raj was recently filming a movie in Pattaya, Thailand, a world famous tourism resort famous for its many tourist attractions and vibrant nightlife, when he decided to tour the city a bit on his own, managing to ditch his entourage and take a Baht Bus (Songtaew in the Thai language), essentially a modified pickup truck taxi, around the city.

Kiran was enjoying his time out until what he described as two very inebriated tourists who were acting quite aggressive climbed onto the baht bus taxi and were disrupting him and other passengers. Although an uncomfortable situation at the time and quite tense, the experience had a major upside for Kiran.

First, we’d like to pause for just a second if you are still with us and don’t know Kiran…here is his IMDB profile here. He is extremely popular in India and has over a million followers on Instagram and over 500,000 on Facebook, but we are aware we have a diverse audience from all around the world who may not be familiar with Indian actors.

Now, Kiran is also famous for starring in many action films and shows, but even the world’s greatest action heroes need to continue to develop their skill sets. While on the Baht Bus with the rowdy drunk gentlemen, Kiran noticed a large ad in the bus for Rage Fight Academy and Training Camp in Pattaya, one of Thailand’s premier training camps with many world-class trainers.

The ad and the situation with the rowdy tourists was sort of a symbol for Kiran at the time, who felt that it was basically calling out his name and that it was meant to be. Without hesitation, Kiran decided to visit Rage Fight Academy and follow up on what he said felt like fate.

It was at Rage Fight Academy that Kiran met Jonny Tello, one of the world class trainers at the camp and an extremely experienced and winning fighter himself. You can learn more about Jonny here and see some great videos of him and Kiran recently!

The two men immediately kicked it off, and in a positive way, not an MMA way. It was indeed as if fate had intervened and Kiran and Jonny began training together, developing not only a solid coach and student relationship but also a budding friendship, sharing many things in common despite very different upbringings and backgrounds.

In the past month or so Kiran has been singing the praises of his time at Rage Fight Academy on social media and the skills he is learning and hopes to fight in real matches in the future, with Jonny helping him prepare. Kiran has already won an in-house fight at Rage Gym and is preparing to fight at a future Rage Fight Night event, with more details to be shared when available! He is continuing to train at Rage Fight Academy in preparation!
