Sattahip —
A Thai woman, whom police believe had been dead for 8-9 days, was found in a condominium unit in Na Jomtien, Sattahip district, on Wednesday, January 17th.
The grisly discovery occurred on the 4th floor of an unidentified condominium complex around 4:30 PM.
Responding to the scene, Na Jomtien police found the lifeless body of Ms. Romnalin (family name withheld pending her family permission) from Kalasin province lying on the floor near the end of the bed. The 30-year-old woman was only wearing a pair of shorts. She was lying face-up in a state of decomposition.
According to condominium staff, the victim had been missing for about 7-8 days and did not answer calls or messages. The foul odor emanating from her locked room prompted the employees to check on it, leading to the discovery of the body.
Preliminary information suggested that the victim’s mother contacted her for the last time on January 8th, 2024. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the building in search of any suspicious activity that might shed light on the events leading to her death. The body has been transported to the Police General Hospital for a thorough forensic examination to determine the cause of death.
