Pattaya Motorcycle Collision Seriously Injures Two People

Two Thai people were seriously injured early Friday morning in a motorcycle collision on Pattaya Klang Road.

The incident occurred at 01:10 AM today, January 5th, and involved a Yamaha Fino driven by Mr. Artragoon Aonsongchan, 27, and a blue Honda Wave 110 without a license plate driven by an unidentified Thai male rider, approximately 20 years old.

Both riders collided with each other on Pattaya Klang Road, prompting an emergency response from the Sawang Boriboon rescue unit.

According to reports, Mr. Artragoon and the unidentified rider sustained serious injuries. The unidentified rider reportedly acted erratically as well. Both victims received on-site care before being urgently transferred to a nearby hospital.

According to eyewitness Mr. Prateep Yoyad, 48, the unidentified rider was reportedly driving at high speed. He also disregarded a flashing yellow traffic signal and collided with Mr. Artragoon’s motorcycle, which was crossing the intersection.

Pattaya police are reviewing footage from available CCTV cameras to determine the exact cause of the accident and potential legal charges.
