As part of the operation, the police team bought two 1-liter bottles of the illicit drink for 100 baht each from the suspect, before making an arrest.

The police confiscated four 1-liter bottles and two small bottles of Kratom drinks, stored in a cooler, from a female suspect identified only as Ms. Ketsarin, 28. She reportedly admitted to selling the drinks to beachgoers for 100 baht per 1-liter bottle and 50 baht for a small bottle, with daily sales of over 100 bottles.

The suspect stated that she typically targeted foreign tourists and young beachgoers. She was subsequently taken into custody for questioning and legal proceedings.
