At 7:00 PM, on December 29th, 2023, Pol. Lt. Gen. Akradet Pimonsri, the acting assistant commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, presided over a crime prevention campaign to monitor the safety of lives and property and facilitate Thai and foreign tourists during New Year celebrations.
More than 500 Pattaya tourist police and relevant officers paraded through the Pattaya area via bicycles, motorbikes, pickup trucks, and speed boats on the bay to deter and prevent crimes during New Year celebrations. The police also facilitated traffic for tourists.
Furthermore, Pol. Lt. Gen. Akradet made a speech “Safe Pattaya City, Safe Excursion” at the event and motivated entertainment service providers at Pattaya Walking Street.
