Tourists Flock to Koh Larn, Most Hotels Fully Booked Until January 1st

Pattaya —

A wave of tourists, both Thai and international, descended upon the idyllic island of Koh Larn near Pattaya yesterday to celebrate the New Year holiday.

The Bali Hai Pier was buzzing with activity on December 29th, as eager vacationers queued for ferries and speedboats to travel to Koh Larn.

Officials from the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, along with their counterparts, kept a watchful eye at the pier in order to ensure the safety of passengers and maintain order amidst the joyous chaos.

According to reports, Koh Larn’s hotels are bursting with guests – with most hotels reporting 100% occupancy until January 1st, 2024. However, those who missed out on securing an island stay for the long weekend can still take day trips to the island from Pattaya due to the island’s proximity.
