Led by Pol. Lt. Col. Sirachat Nuthet, deputy superintendent of the Pattaya Police Station, the operation focused on reminding entertainment business operators of the Royal Thai Police’s “5 Safety Measures.” These measures include preventing minors from entering entertainment venues, prohibiting drug use within venues and the carrying of weapons of any kind, reporting possible human trafficking activities, and maintaining crowd control, fire safety, and overall security measures.

Additionally, the inspection evaluated each venue’s preparations for New Year’s celebrations. Pol. Lt. Col. Sirachat said venues must have clear fire escape routes and sufficient and functional fire safety equipment.

With an anticipated surge in visitors and bar opening hours being extended until 6:00 AM on December 31st, the Pattaya authorities have vowed to intensify inspections throughout the festival period.
