Pattaya City to Tackle Rabies with Free Vaccinations in January 2024

The Department of Public Health and Environment of Pattaya City is launching a campaign to control and prevent rabies in the Pattaya area by providing free vaccinations for pets in January 2024.

The initiative covers various neighborhoods, including Naklua (Moo 1-7), Nongprue (Moo 5, 6, 9-13), and Huay Yai (Moo 4). The program will also offer other free services, such as tick prevention for dogs and neutering services.

Starting in January, the veterinarian team will be stationed at various temples, including

  • January 8th, Wat Thong Phatthanaram
  • January 10th, Wat Thong Phatthanaram
  • January 17th, Wat Mai Hat Krathueng Thong
  • January 19th, Wat Mai Hat Krathueng Thong
  • January 22nd, Wat Bunkanchanaram
  • anuary 24th, Wat Bunkanchanaram
  • January 31st, Wat Khao Phra Yai

People are encouraged to follow guidelines, including ensuring pets are healthy and at least three months old for vaccinations. Registration requires a valid ID card, and those without a local address in the service area should provide their current address.
