According to a report by Pattaya City police, the entertainment services providers cooperated with the policy by providing rest areas to visitors after the venue closed.
Furthermore, there were alcohol testing devices and hail-riding services provided to reduce the risk of car accidents.

Information on how many people tested positive or were caught for drunk driving was not released by Pattaya police. Pattaya police vowed to continue setting up drunk driving checkpoints on a regular basis and catch all drunken drivers, prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law.

Pattaya police also reminded the public that if they go out to drink they should take public transportation or walk home instead of driving.
