Bang Lamung—
At 5:40 PM, on December 6th, 2023, Nong Prue rescue teams received a report that a peacock landed on the roof of a house in Eakmongkol Village 3, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.
In the reported location, the rescue teams found a peacock on the roof before sneaking behind in an attempt to capture the peacock. With one swoop, the rescue team was able to capture the peacock safely after a short while.
The rescue team would later transfer the peacock to the Nong Prue Municipality Disaster Relief Center.
According to a report by an anonymous local resident, the peacock had been on the loose since the morning and nobody had declared ownership. As locals were afraid that the peacock might attack children in the village, they then reportedly called the rescue teams to help capture the peacock as it flew to a nearby roof.
The rescue teams would later release the peacock to a nature preserve in Chonburi if there was no one who claimed ownership.
