Young Swiss Tourist Injured in Accidental Fall from Pattaya Condo Balcony

A Swiss man accidentally fell from a condominium balcony in Pattaya and suffered injuries.

At 5:00 AM this morning, December 7th, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit received a report of a foreigner falling from a significant height at a condominium building in the Jomtien area. They immediately responded to the scene.

At the condo, whose name was not reported to the press, rescue personnel found Mr. Luis Anders Engel, a 27-year-old Swiss national, lying on the ground. He had sustained injuries, including a fractured leg and a dislocated ankle, after falling from a third-floor balcony of the building.

His friends disclosed to rescue workers that Mr. Luis was leaning on the balcony railing and smoking when he accidentally fell. Rescue personnel provided first aid at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The precise extent of Mr. Luis’s injuries and his current condition are unknown as of press time.
