Deceased Infant Found in Trash Bin in Pattaya

Pattaya —

The lifeless body of an approximately 6-8 month old infant was found abandoned in a trash bin on Soi Thrappraya 5, Pattaya, Tuesday morning, December 5th.

The infant was wrapped in a black shirt and a red and brown towel placed in a plastic bag, stained with blood.

The horrific discovery was made by a motorbike taxi driver, Mr. Montawat Boonmee, 52, who happened to pass by the incident scene. The Thai man said a person collecting used bottles asked him to come see what they found, and when Mr. Montawat came to see what it was, he was horrified to find the lifeless infant in the trash bin. He immediately called the Pattaya police to report the incident.

Pattaya police captured images of the scene as evidence. They also ordered investigators to conduct a thorough examination, collect witness statements, and review surveillance camera footage. The father and mother involved in this heartless act are being sought for legal proceedings.
