Upon arrival, relevant authorities found the tourist, identified as Mr. Genndii Penniaev, lying unconscious on the beach. The 27-year-old Russian national exhibited signs of heavy intoxication, including a pale complexion and unresponsiveness. His girlfriend, also a Russian national, was at the scene providing assistance to her boyfriend.

Rescue personnel immediately administered initial medical aid and promptly transported Mr. Genndii to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Pattaya police interviewed Mr. Genndii’s friend and learned that the tourist had smoked marijuana and subsequently became intoxicated. He then sat on the beach before suddenly wading into the sea. As he struggled to stay afloat, his girlfriend sought help from a nearby beachgoer who assisted in bringing him back to the shore. The authorities were then notified and arrived to provide necessary assistance.

Mr. Genndii has not suffered serious harm and is expected to recover, according to reports.

TPN Media notes that although the group of Russian tourists blamed marijuana, a scientific reason for his health emergency was not given by rescue workers.
