Pattaya Hosts Prestigious IPSC Shotgun World Shoot 2023

The IPSC Shotgun World Shoot 2023 officially kicked off in Pattaya on December 3rd.

The event, held in collaboration with the Thailand Practical Shooting Association, drew over 800 athletes from 50 countries, making it a significant event not only for promoting the sport of practical shooting but also for showcasing Pattaya as a sports city and promoting sports tourism.

Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, Mayor of Pattaya, inaugurated the event, highlighting the importance of this competition in promoting Pattaya’s sporting prowess and its potential as a hub for sports tourism. The official opening ceremony, held on the Pattaya beachside near the Dusit Thani Hotel, was attended by IPSC association officials, the president of the Thailand Practical Shooting Association, athletes, honored guests, and the general public.

The competition itself took place at the National Shooting Range of Thailand, located in Banglamung district, Chonburi province. The event commenced on November 24th, 2023, and will continue until December 10th, 2023.
