American Legion Post TH02 Pattaya Shows Appreciation to Pattaya Police

Pattaya, Thailand-

The Sgt. Thomas Oliver Ahlberg Memorial American Legion Post TH02 of Pattaya Thailand recently presented certificates of appreciation to The Royal Thai Police Soi 9 station for their dedicated assistance in helping American citizens in need throughout the Pattaya community.

The event took place the same day as THIS event in which the police showed their appreciation for tourists and visitors to Pattaya, a city reliant on tourism for about 90 percent of its GDP.

However, the Sgt. Thomas Oliver Ahlberg Memorial American Legion Post TH02 wanted to show their personal support and appreciation to several loyal police officers who often work in the “Front Lines” of Soi 9 assisting tourists, including many Americans, with a variety of problems, questions, and concerns.

The Pattaya News team also attended to witness the ceremony and experience the delight that members of the Pattaya Police experienced being given recognition and appreciation. Their roles are often those where they don’t receive much praise or get compliments for their consistent work, so the officers present were truly appreciative despite having a busy day due to the police event for tourists and many high-ranking police present.

After the ceremony with the certificates being given to deserving members of the Pattaya Police, Sgt. Thomas Oliver Ahlberg Memorial American Legion Post TH02 members visited the aforementioned police tourism support event on Pattaya Beach and thanked members from many different divisions and groups for the work they do, including Tourist Police, Foreign Police Volunteers, Thai Police, and many more. Enjoy the photos further below.
