Pattaya Launches Big Cleaning Before Naklua Walk and Eat Festival

Pattaya —

The city of Pattaya is putting the final touches on preparations for the 15th annual Naklua Walk and Eat Festival, set to kick off on Saturday, December 2nd.

On Wednesday, November 29th, cleaning crews from the Natural Resources and Environment Office have been diligently cleaning the streets of Old Town Naklua to ensure a pristine setting for the event.

The 15th iconic Naklua Walk and Eat Festival will span from the Naklua Police Station to the Naklua Long Bridge, which will be transformed into a long promenade of culinary and cultural delights.

Running from December 2nd to December 24th, 2023, and from January 6th to January 14th, 2024, the event will take place every Saturday and Sunday for a total of six weeks.

Apart from 200 participating shops selling all sorts of locally made offerings, the event will also feature live concerts by popular young artists, including Nescafe Sri Nakorn, Bai Khao Thai Bann the Series, and Your Mood. These performances will take place on the opening day and the last day of the year to welcome the new year with an energetic spirit.

Adding to the vibrancy of the event will be performances by students from schools within the city of Pattaya.

With the event just on the horizon, the cleaning crews’ efforts ensure that the Naklua Walk and Eat Festival will occur against the backdrop of an inviting setting.
