Bangkok –

Lots of fake dollar banknotes were found along with a counterfeiting machine inside the room where a Taiwanese man was murdered at a hotel in Bangkok, say police officers familiar with the investigation.

A Cameroon and Myanmar man were arrested after they were allegedly involved in the murder of a Taiwanese man at a hotel in Bangkok. The identity of the Thai woman who allegedly hired the three foreign men is still unknown and she remains at large as of press time.

The Metropolitan Police is asking the public to find a Thai female suspect who is allegedly involved in the murder of a Taiwanese man at a hotel in Bangkok.

Now for the update:

The Metropolitan Police told TPN media on Monday (November 20th) that Thai Forensic Police investigated inside the room and they found two safe boxes. Police managed to open the safe boxes and they found lots of fake dollar bank notes, papers, and machines used for making counterfeit banknotes.

Police have already arrested two suspects which are a Myanmar man and a Cameroon man. However, a Vanuatu man and a Thai woman are still on the run. It’s unclear what the connection is with the fake money found and the death of the Taiwanese man, however, suspects already captured claim they were hired by the Thai woman after answering a job as online to follow and extort the Taiwanese man for money. They claimed, however, that they had nothing to do with murdering the man and left him alive but tied up when they departed the hotel.

TPN media will continue to update this story as more details are released.
