Black Sheep Motorbike Club Leads Successful Pattaya Elephant Charity Run 2023

Pattaya, Thailand-

Led by the Black Sheep Motorcycle Club in Pattaya, dozens of eager volunteers held a charity ride to raise funds for the Elephant Camp in the Pattaya area recently.

The event was originally held on Sunday, the 5th of November 2023. The Pattaya News had advertised the event previously here.

The main organizer was Black Sheep MC Pattaya but many other people and groups also participated as seen below. (Some information about them: The BLACK SHEEP Motorcycle Club was founded in Pattaya, Thailand in 2009 by FROG (Patrick Van Den Berghe) and Hellboy (deceased).
The Club had 9 Original Members.
The BLACK SHEEP MC THAILAND purpose is for recreational and charitable purposes and is a brotherhood of likeminded motorcycle riders.
It is not a 1% motorcycle club.
Our brotherhood is made up of many different nationalities with English being the agreed communication language.
The background of members and their previous or actual stations in life, is completely irrelevant in the club’s operations and member’s behavior.
All members are always treated with the same level of respect.
We ride weekly on Saturdays. Our rides are open to members, prospects, hangarounds and aspirant members who ride a minimum 650 cc motorcycle. )

Details of the charity and Elephant Run:
Pattaya Elephant Sanctuary is an eco-friendly safe haven for rescued elephants in Bang Saray. Their goal is to provide a caring home for elephants where they can live as naturally as possible and are respected by the visitors. They adhere to an ethical model, which means NO CHAINS, NO BULLHOOKS, NO RIDING, NO SHOWS.
The Sanctuary is financially dependent on visitors and their donations.

After a lot of planning the 1st Elephant Run was a success.
Over 50 MC’s and more than 150 bikes, totalling about 200 people, gathered for this fantastic charity event.

Foreign and Thai bikers represented their club and proved again that the biker community is all about LOVE, PEACE and RESPECT for each other.
All showed their big hearts and opened their wallets for the Pattaya Elephant Sanctuary. A total amount of 87310 THB was raised!!!

BLACK SHEEP MC PATTAYA would like to thank all participants for their support and friendship.

Here are some kind words from the Elephant Sanctuary as well:
