Thieves Steal Internet Cables in Pattaya

Pattaya —

Two thieves stole internet cables, resulting in the disruption of an internet connection for a house in Pattaya and causing great fear for the homeowner.

The victim, known only as Ms. Too, chose to keep her identity confidential as she shared the distressing incident with reporters from The Pattaya News. According to Ms. Too, two Thai men, aged about 30-40 years old, targeted her residence in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi province. The incident occurred in the early hours of November 11th at 3:35 AM.

The culprits, arriving on a motorbike, scaled the wall beside Ms. Too’s house and proceeded to cut the internet cables, causing a complete loss of internet signal for her residence. Making a hasty getaway on a vehicle, they dragged the stolen lines with them, leaving a mess of wires scattered on the ground.

This unfortunate event marks the second time Ms. Too’s house has been targeted by cable thieves. Terrified by the repeated incidents, she took the matter to the Pattaya police, urging them to address it seriously.
