Pattaya —
A motorbike thief, disguised in a famous food delivery jacket, stole a motorbike from a resident on Soi Siam Country Club in Pattaya in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The 37-year-old motorbike owner, Soisunee Meesan, took to local media on Sunday, November 12th, to report her predicament. The Thai woman complained that her blue 125 Honda Wave motorbike was stolen from her laundromat located on Soi Siam Country Club in the Nongprue sub-district of Pattaya, Chonburi province, just after she went inside her shop to grab some items.
Ms. Soisunee explained that the incident happened around 2:30 AM yesterday. She was about to head home from work with her son when they both decided to leave the motorbike at the front of the shop to grab some items in the back briefly with the keys in the ignition. The motorbike’s engine was on at the moment when Ms. Soisunee heard it being driven away. She ran to the motorbike and found it was gone.
Upon checking CCTV footage, it was found that a tall man, dressed in a food delivery jacket, took Ms. Soisunee’s vehicle. The culprit was wearing a face mask, so the victim could not see his face.
Ms. Soisunee stated that she wanted her motorbike back because she needed it to drive to work. She had only purchased it five months ago and still had not fully paid for it yet, the victim stated.
