Pattaya Man Killed in Horrific Motorbike Collision

Pattaya —

A 29-year-old Thai man was killed when his motorbike collided with a sedan on Phonprapanimit Road 26 in Pattaya late on Tuesday night, November 7th.

Nongprue police received a report of the fatal accident at 10 PM and rushed to the scene in Chonburi province’s Banglamung district, along with Sawang Boriboon rescue workers.

At the scene, authorities found 29-year-old Suriyan Chulnak deceased on the road with severe neck injuries. He was found beneath his Honda Wave 125 motorbike, which had crashed into the middle of a Toyota Altis sedan, driven by 27-year-old Phuchit Suwanchairob. The collision’s impact badly dented the sedan’s door. Mr. Phuchit did not provide a statement to the press.

According to eyewitness 33-year-old Kobkit Wongcharin, he observed a sedan emerging from an alley and heading towards the opposite alley. Suddenly, Mr. Suriyan came straight at full speed on a motorbike and collided violently into the central section of the sedan, resulting in his immediate demise.

Local residents in the area expressed their concerns about this particular thoroughfare. They mentioned that accidents frequently occur on this road, resulting in several fatalities and serious injuries. They would like to request relevant authorities to install traffic lights at the entrances and exits of the alleyways to prevent further loss of life.

The body of the victim was moved to Banglamung Hospital to await further funeral arrangements.
