Thai Police Seize Over 400 Illegal Blank and BB Guns Worth 4 Million Baht in Bangkok Warehouse Raid

Bangkok—

On November 2nd, 2023, Anti-Trafficking In Persons (ATP) officers were dispatched to search two warehouses in the Suksawat area, Rat Burana, Bangkok, on a search warrant from Thonburi Criminal Court.

During the search operation, there were illegal blank guns and BB guns of more than 400 units and additional gear of more than 780 units found, with an estimated value of 4 million baht.

The firearm imitations are controlled goods being sold without the Thai government’s permission. The warehouses store the products to distribute them on online platforms and local retail stores.

Initially, the Thai police confiscated the property in dispute and escorted the alleged owners of the warehouse for legal proceedings. The ATP officers pledged to further investigate to hold involved individuals accountable for their crimes.
