National—

On November 2nd, 2023, Mr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, the director-general of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, publicly revealed a resolution on the Fund of Energy Conservation to reduce the retail price of Gasohol 91 by 2.50 baht per liter effective from November 7th, 2023 to January 31st 2024.

Moreover, the retail price of Gasohol 95 and Gasohol E20 will also be reduced accordingly.

As for the cabinet resolution on October 31st, 2023, the Thai government has a policy to relieve the burden of citizens by reducing the tax rate on energy products and gasohol by 0.15-1 baht per liter.
Gasohol 95 will approximately be reduced by 1 baht per liter, and Gasohol E20 and Gasohol E85 will approximately be reduced by 0.80 baht per liter.

Prasert voiced his concerns about the ongoing war in the Middle East that may have an impact on the global economy, as a result, this can affect gas and oil prices in Thailand.
