Laem Chabang—
On November 1st, 2023, Thai Marine Police (TMP) officers conducted an annual sea exercise emphasizing security at Laem Chabang Port, Chonburi.
The tactical sea drill was a countermeasure for unexpected incidents that may occur as per the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) 2023. Many relevant Thai agencies participated in the sea exercise as an annual drill.
During the sea exercise, a mass shooting incident was simulated at Laem Chabang port, and other exercises also took place such as tactical evasions, demonstrations on facing aggressive situations, and prevention of potential risks.
However, the main purpose of this sea exercise was to build confidence and enhance security for citizens and entrepreneurs in the Laem Chabang Port area.
