Pol. Lt. Col. Thanapong Phothiti, Chief of the Pattaya police, revealed to The Pattaya News that he had apprehended two suspects along with four stolen motorcycles at an unnamed rental residence within Soi Phonprapanimit 27, Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.

This action followed a report filed by an unidentified victim on October 24th, where the victim claimed to have been robbed of their motorbike.

After receiving the report, the Pattaya police promptly conducted an investigation. They deployed forces to search for evidence and managed to obtain surveillance camera footage, which helped track the suspects’ escape route. Ultimately, the police arrested the two suspects in a rented room and seized the stolen motorcycles. This operation spanned both the jurisdiction of Pattaya Police Station and Nongprue Police Station, Lt. Col. Thanapong said.

The two Thai suspects were identified by Lt. Col. Thanapong as Mr. Tong Noikhamlue, 33, and Mr. Monsinchai Nimananong, 31, and were taken into custody. The seized motorcycles will serve as evidence in the ongoing legal proceedings against them.

The suspects reportedly admitted to their crimes and showed police through a re-enactment how they committed their crimes.
