Pattaya Gears Up for International Jet Skiing Competition

Pattaya is set to host the prestigious international jet skiing competition, “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup and WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023” from December 13th to 17th at Jomtien Beach.

The event, aimed at promoting sports tourism and solidifying Pattaya’s status as a sports city, is expected to draw over 2,500 jet ski athletes from more than 30 countries worldwide.

The preparation for the competition was officially initiated on October 31st, with Pattaya’s Deputy Mayor, Mr. Kritsana Boonsawad, presiding over the readiness meeting. He was joined by Mr. Narongrit Wongsuwan, Director of the Thai Jet Sports Boating Association, along with officials and representatives from various related agencies.

Discussions covered various aspects, including venue arrangements, land and water safety measures, traffic management, sanitation and mobile clinics, electrical installations, lighting, and media promotion. These meticulous preparations aim to ensure the smooth execution of the event and showcase Pattaya as a world-class destination for sports enthusiasts.
