Sattahip —

Sattahip police conducted an intensive inspection of karaoke venues in the area of the Tao Than Thong Thip Market on October 30th.

According to Pol. Col. Panya Damlek, police chief of the Sattahip Police Station, the inspection was conducted in line with the Royal Thai Police’s policy to ensure that every area was well-ordered. The inspection team focused on enforcing closing times, preventing underage access, and preventing the possession of weapons and illegal drugs among karaoke customers at the Tao Than Thong Thip Market in Sattahip.

During the inspection, all establishments were found to have the required business licenses, and no irregularities had been detected. However, Pol. Col. Panya stressed that violators of any law or regulation would be arrested immediately.

Sattahip police had also been instructed to conduct regular checks on entertainment venues for the safety of domestic and international visitors.
