Man Injured After Falling from Pattaya Condo

Pattaya —

A Thai man survived a fall from the second floor of a condominium complex in Pattaya with several injuries. The victim purposely jumped from his room after reportedly becoming upset with his girlfriend.

The incident took place early yesterday morning at 6 AM on October 31st, at a condominium complex (name withheld) in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi province. When the Pattaya Police were notified, they coordinated with Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan rescuers to go to the scene.

The rescuers discovered the 30-year-old victim (name withheld due to his privacy) lying on the ground beside the condo. The Thai man had suffered minor pain in his back, hips, and ankles. He was taken to a local hospital.

According to a police interview with his girlfriend, the man attempted to ask her if he could go outside to hangout with his friends, but she declined. Angered, the man walked to the balcony of his second-floor room and jumped to the ground below, sustaining injuries.

Eyewitnesses corroborated the girlfriend’s statement, affirming that the victim acted by himself. The victim remains hospitalized as of press time.
