Tragic Multi-Vehicle Accident Claims Three Lives in Sadao, Songkhla

At 11 PM, on October 28th, 2023, the Sadao police officers received a multi-vehicle accident report resulting in three deaths on Kanchanawanit Road, Sadao, Songkhla.

The local rescue teams then were dispatched to rescue the wounded. At the incident scene, a racing pickup truck was found having collided with a lorry rear, and nearby, there was a heavily damaged motorcycle.

There were three passengers stuck inside the pickup truck found in critical conditions, moreover, an unconscious motorcyclist was found 100 meters away from the accident scene. The rescue teams then broke into the pickup truck to bring the wounded to a nearby hospital with haste.

Unfortunately, three of the four injured persons were announced deceased after being transferred to the hospital due to their critical conditions. The deceased were publicly identified only as: Mr. Theeraphong, 37, Mr. Suthilak, 50, and Mrs. Malinee, a 61-year-old motorcyclist, and one more unidentified injured person survived.


According to the rescue team report, Mr. Watcharapong, the 32-year-old lorry driver, reportedly said that he parked his lorry on the roadside, meanwhile, two racing pickup trucks were reportedly speeding fast before one of the trucks lost control of their vehicle. One racing pickup truck then collided with the motorcycle and slid over to the lorry’s rear.

Another alleged racing pickup truck was nowhere to be seen since.
Initially, the Sadao police officers inspected the incident scene to collect evidence and pledged to thoroughly investigate the case for further legal proceedings.
