New Aerial Traveling Route Connects Phuket, Phitsanulok, and Northern Thailand, Boosting Tourism Opportunities

Phitsanulok—

On October 25th, 2023, Mrs. Sasiwan Sripom, the President of Phitsanulok Tourism, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and relevant tourism agencies, promoted a new aerial traveling route connecting Phuket-Don Mueang-Phitsanulok-Don Mueang-Phuket by Thai Air Asia.

This FLY-THRU flight means that the passengers need to only check in once without having to check in while changing planes. The FLY-THRU flight has connected regions in the lower northern provinces group: Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Phetchabun, Uttaradit, Tak, and nearby provinces such as Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Nakhon Sawan, to the southern region.

The aerial traveling route will be focused on a tourism center, Phitsanulok, and nearby northern provinces as well as potential tourist attractions such as national parks, and world heritage cities.

The TAT officials publicly stated that during the upcoming high season at the end of the year, by far, the most popular travel choices are by cars or trains. This FLY-THRU project is a great effort to stimulate tourism by airplanes which would potentially increase the number of tourists.
